I say it is, because the last Full Moon was on July 22, 2013 when the Moon entered Aquarius; the Moon enters Aquarius on Tuesday, August 20!! About 28 days or so!!

I've always had to check several books to find what I needed to do rituals or spells.  Here the information is located in one book.

The Turning of The Wheel of The Year

Normally, August is one of the hottest months on record for where I live.  The gardens are producing, canning, also called putting up, freezing, and drying veggies and herbs is in full swing.  The Winter garden is being planted according to the Almanac. So far this week the temps have been more Fall like, 80s during the day and high 50s at night.  This is football weather!!  

I just happened to check my fav online weather site and noticed that as of yesterday, the Sun has started setting before 7p.  Each year when this happens, I start to feel the Wheel of the Year turning and the closer we get to Mabon and Samhain the faster the wheel seems to turn.  Winter brings on staying inside more, I'm an outdoor person.  Moving the furniture around again to accommodate indoor rituals if needed.  Journeying to Bridget's Well to collect pristine water and greens for Yule decorations, putting in more time at the website where I do Tarot Readings, and just mainly getting thru the Winter.  And the old timers here are predicting not a good Winter.  

Granted, September is just a few weeks away and this weather should happen  then, but the forecasters say this cooler weather is just a blip on the weather radar screen and hot weather will return.

After Meditation

Was just not right in content or subject!! Not what the Muse would have posted.

Meditation is one thing that can be counted on to rejuvenate--mind and body.  So that is exactly what I did--Meditate!!

Now seeing the situation in a better slant, quite possibly things are not as they seem with these negative ones. And the negativity they put forth is just a reflection of their own insecurities: of their unhappy life and their unhappy selves.  And people like this you have to make allowances for.  They are WHO they ARE and part of the universe that surrounds us all. Accept them for who and what they are, life will be simpler then.

Rude Behavior

This is my first blog here at Blogger. So here goes.

I belong to another site that is for weight loss.  

On Memorial Day I posted at one of the groups suggesting the members and everyone not a member to "Thank a Veteran for their Service."  Veterans need to hear this.  

Immediately one of the other group members posted a nasty, smarty clown, crack wise comment.  Not sure what her problem is, other than the fact she's using the site to vent all her negativity on the site, the  members and otherwise make an arse of herself.  Claiming to be a pagan, and for family reasons she's in the closet, that's very understandable, but to leave negative comments on others posts when the poster is sharing their knowledge of the craft, or asking questions about the craft, just leads me to believe she's not what she says she is.
